Crowd Management and COVID-19 Series: Part 4

By Charity Kilbourn – Sr. Content Leader, ACTN Strategies LLC

As the weeks and months pass by, it’s easy to become complacent about COVID-19 safety measures. Especially if you have not been directly impacted by the virus. Summer has come and gone, and we have all, in one way or another, begun to settle into the new normal. But don’t relax your guard just yet…

New Cases Are on the Rise

The reason for the rise in new cases of COVID-19 has yet to be determined. Some speculate that it is due to a drop in temperatures across the United States. Others believe it could be due to an increase in small gatherings, or a combination of both factors.

Whatever the reason for the rise, states across the Midwest are now reporting positive case numbers nearing those reported in July of this year, when positive COVID-19 cases were at their highest.

Fortify Your Business

Now is not the time for businesses to loosen the measures they have put in place to protect their employees and the public from COVID-19. In fact, as temperatures continue to fall and the holidays approach, having a carefully designed COVID-19 safety program in place is more important than ever.

A great way to do this is to use an experienced team of crowd management experts, who will evaluate your unique operational requirements and provide a personalized strategy that maximizes your operational flow, while implementing measures that minimize or even eliminate exposure. You will also  get effective training for your staff on social distancing guidelines, emergency awareness procedures, and more.

An investment into the safety of your operation now can help protect you and your staff from costly complications in the future. Remember, the more you do now to help stop the spread of the virus, the sooner the virus is no longer a threat.
